Cliff Bleszinski has always pleased the hardcore gamer with his violent, cover-based shooter Gears of War, but now, he is reaching out to casual gamers and anybody new to the franchise with Gears 3's brand new casual mode.
This new edition is exclusive to people who never played the first two gears and will be used for both single and multiplayer modes. It will have easier enemy A.I., auto-aim assistance and will have MP channels just for them so they don't end up getting chainsawed right after spawning.
As an added bonus Isaiah Mustafa, the man famous for the Old Spice commercials, has just been announce to voice the new unfortunate Carmine-type character in Gears 3, in which Cliffy B describes, "The cast just keeps getting sexier and sexier!"
It's good to see them reach out to newer players, but I am gonna miss sniping those unsuspecting noob's. And the latest edition to the cast just made me laugh, but in a good way, I'm interested on how this will turn out but makes me wonder if Clayton Carmine will be surviving Gears final installment and breaking the Carmine Curse. Rev up your Lancers on September 20th when the game releases and I give my first review on the blog.
