Nintendo has announced that Europe will be getting a new Wii bundle ready in time for Christmas this year. The new model will be slimmer and smaller, but there's a price, this Wii won't have Gamecube compatibility; so no playing your Pikmin, Animal Crossing or what other games you have. If you're an optimistic person, the bundle will come with Wii Sports and Wii Party. Nintendo also says that more bundles will be coming out soon and they will be focusing their attention on said bundles.
I really don't get why Nintendo is releasing a Wii bundle without Gamecube compatibility, especially when the Wii U is somewhere around the corner.
