In a surprise twist during an interview with Now Gamer, Volition producer Greg Donovan announced that Saints Row the Third will have two major endings and multiple choices that you can make throughout the game. Obviously Volition is using the ever growing formula of choosing your fate in your game which has been used many times like GTA IV, The Mass Effect series and Fable.
I can choose the outcome of the game? That sounds familiar...
These choices also do effect the world and how you play. For example You are given the choice to either blow up a giant building or keeping it as a crib. If you keep it, you get a new crib conveniently located in the middle of the city where you can change your appearance, get money from your stash and even access your weapon cache. However, if you destroy the building you gain more money each day passes by which you can use to by cars, ammo and even weapon upgrades. All these decisions also will effect the outcome of the ending of the game.
What's more embarrassing than being a muscle bound wrestler getting mauled to death by a woman wielding a giant purple dildo bat? Nothing.
This really makes things more interesting. A smart move on Volition's part doing this, but I wonder how they'll fit all that onto the 360's disc? Saints Row the Third will be hitting shelves November 15th.
