It seems like Ubisoft really is interested in making an Assassin's Creed movie, especially since Sony has already registered the following domains:

This isn't actual confirmation, this could be Sony just taking the domains just in case they do make a movie and they already have the domain ready for it. It would be nice to see a film adaptation of Assassin's Creed though.
