Borderlands 2 already has a release date?

Not much has been shown about Gearbox's upcoming sequel to the role-playing shooter Borderlands, in fact, no gameplay has even been showed to the public except for some leaked footage that keeps getting pulled. However, Amazon.com might have already given us a release date before the developer did.

Amazon has made a special holiday deal for those who pre-purchase the game, but the real kicker is that they claim the game will be released on June 30th, 2012.
