There have been rumors going around that information is going around for Dead Space 3, like that the setting will take place on an icy planet called Tau Volantis and detailed information on how he got there; I don't normally like posting rumors, but this kind of information is big considering that it deals with the plot.
As a wanted man by EarthGov, Isaac accepts a rescue mission to get away from the corrupted for of government; Isaac goes down to Tau Volantis in order to rescue an unknown girl.
Isaac's mind has been heavily battered by the Marker, and because of this Isaac now has a split personality where he's taunted by "Shadow Isaac". Supposedly conversations will take place between Isaac and his other personality.
These are just rumors, so don't start getting excited over nothing just as a precaution. I doubt any of these rumors are true, but it would be cool if they are.
