It's no big surprise when EA tries squeeze more money out of gamers for the games they purchased. EA has announced that Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 copies of Battlefield 3 is going to need the one time use Online Pass in order to play online.
People who have a retail copy of the game will not be affected, but those who bought a used copy is going to have to shell out an extra $10 for the Online Pass. It might as well be cheaper or the same price to buy a new copy of Battlefield 3.
