The every beloved Scarlet Spider is making a return in Scarlet Spider. For awhile Marvel has been teasing the return of Scarlet Spider and it has been announced today at New York Comic Con that he will have his own series in January with writer Chris Yost and Artist Ryan Stegman.
Nothing is known about the Scarlet Spider except that they are connected to Spider-Man and possibly Peter Parker. Yost won't even give their gender as he sometimes refers to Scarlet Spider as an 'it'.
When it comes to Scarlet Spider's costume, Stegman decided to change it up a bit; he won't be wearing his iconic blue hoodie in this series.
"I wanted to make the costume a bit scarier, because The Scarlet Spider has an edge that regular Spider-Man doesn't,: says Stegman, "So I thought that big, blood-red eyes on a black mask would really accomplish that. I hope I'm right!”
