Surprise, surprise! Nintendo has announced that they will be releasing New Super Mario Bros. 2 on the 3DS.
This new Mario installation is a prequel to New Super Mario Bros. on the DS and the Wii. You can expect to see the game in stores in Japan and North America sometime this August.
In the mean time, check out these screenshots that shows us what we can expect to see in the game, like the infamous Power Leaf.
