DC Sales Triumphs For The Month Of October

It seems like DC's New 52 did wonders for them since their Unite Shares have increased dramatically since the release of the reboot and October is a really good month for DC as they are beating Marvel when it comes to sales.

According to Diamond Comic Distributors, DC currently holds 50.97% of sold units when compared to other comic book companies (DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, IDW Publishing, Dynamite Entertainment, BOOM! Studios and other publishers.) In the month of September, DC was at 35.74%, while Marvel had a 37.88% in sold units.

Unit Shares for the months of October and September

When it comes to actual dollars, DC is still dominating for the month of October after being slightly under Marvel's hold in September. DC Comics even has 17 of their comics in the top 20 of Top 100 comics and graphic novels for the month of October with Marvel just having three of their titles.
