During the events of Fear Itself, the Hulk freed himself from Nul the Breaker of Worlds which let Nul wonder the lands of the Earth to wreak havoc upon. With the help of Dr. Strange, Namor, Red She-Hulk, Silver Surfer and Iron First, the Hulk plans to take on his previous captor.
The Defenders #1 is planned to be released on December 7, 2011.
