It seems like Marvel will be crushing fans of the late Victor Von Doom comic that was to be coming out at the end of the month for Marvel has canceled the series.
Victor Von Doom was announced back in August and was to be a four-issued miniseries written by Nick Spender and art done by Becky Cloonan. The whole premise of the miniseries was to follow Doom through his journey as he saves the spirit of his deceased mother.
The cancellation of Victor Von Doom is due to the layoffs that Marvel faced just last month. Alejandro Arbona was one of the people who were laid off, who was also Victor Von Doom's project editor.
The layoffs didn't just include Victor Von Doom though, it also became the end for Alpha Flight (which was announced to be an ongoing series), All-Winners Squad an Iron Man 2.0.
It is sad to hear that these comics got cancelled, and it's even more sad about the layoffs. Victor Von Doom looked like it has such great potential and Alpha Flight was doing so great also.
