C2E2 has announced the return of Disney XD's Earth's Mightiest Heroes for a season 2. The show will return with 7 all new episodes in May after Thor hits theaters. The episodes are as followed:
20 "The Casket of Ancient Winters"
On the hottest day of the year, an ancient artifact is found... then a cold wind blows. An ancient relic called the Casket of Ancient Winters has been opened, and the entire planet goes into a deep freeze!

21 "Hail, Hydra!"
HYDRA and AIM are waging war against one another, and only one person knows why... the Black Widow. She knows that AIM had created the ultimate weapon for HYDRA, a weapon so powerful that MODOC kept it for himself. Now Strucker will stop at nothing to obtain the weapon he paid for, the Cosmic Cube.
22 "Ultron-5"
Ant-Man has had enough of the violence that comes with being an Avenger and wants to find a better way to bring peace to the world... after all, that's why he created Ultron. But something has gone terribly wrong with his greatest technological masterpiece.
23 "The Ultron Imperative"
As the devastated team struggles with a loss, Ant-Man and Iron Man go about destroying all remnants of Ultron. But they don't realise that Ultron has transcended his body, and has infiltrated the world's computer systems...
24 "This Hostage Earth"
The end begins! The Masters of Evil mobilise all across the world preparing for an invasion the likes of which Earth has never seen. And unless the Avengers can stop it... the armies of Asgard are coming to Earth.
25 "The Fall of Asgard"
Lost and separated, the Avengers struggle to survive in the nine realms of Asgard. But with Thor defeated and Iron Man's armor not functioning... what chance do they have?
26 "A Day Unlike Any Other"
Eight realms have fallen, and only Midgard remains. The Avengers are nothing against his power. Loki has won. Every moment has led to this.
We were to lead to believe that season 2 was to involve The Skrull/Kree war, but this season still looks like it will be awesome. Only downside to it is that it's just 7 episodes compared to it's 20 episode first season.
cool, but i'm pretty sure the seven new eps are part of the first season. there are two seasons, each 26 episodes long.
