After the release of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Capcom will be delivering us one of the new modes that is to make the game special. Heroes vs. Heralds will be a free DLC that puts you against the Heralds of Galactus as you defend the Earth.
This isn't just a normal mode where you fight using the skills of the heroes you selected, you actually get to mix and match the skills that you want to use. This will work by collecting over one hundred cards in offline mode; the cards will contain characters from the Marvel Universe and the Capcom Universe. From there you get to equip three of those cards to your heroes, the cards will give you the abilities of whichever character card you attached; the cards will allow you to parry, cancel special into other specials and grant you projectile invincibility. The mode will also be playable online.
