So far the Avengers has been a big hit across North America as it has made millions of dollars just during the midnight release of the movie.
In just one night, the Avengers has raked in $18.7 million dollars which puts the movie in eighth place in the list of top midnight debuts. Globally, The Avengers has made $322.7 million so far and is continuing to rise.
Originally expected to hit $150 million total in North America, analysts have now rethought how much The Avengers will make and estimate that it will hit $170 million. Analysts are also expecting that the movie will make as much as $550 million world wide by the end of the weekend.
