Game studio Deep Silver and publisher Bantam has agreed to work on a book that revolves around Dead Island that will debut for the U.K. around the launch of Dead Island.
Horror and thriller writer, Mark Morris, will be writing the book adaptation. Mark Morris has worked on titles including Hell boy and various Dr. Who books. Morris has this to say about his working book:
"Having marveled, like the rest of the world, at the stunning trailer earlier this year, I absolutely leaped at the opportunity to write the official Dead Island tie-in novel. This is a rich, exotic world of well-conceived characters, stunning locations and all-out zombie mayhem. What really attracted me to the project, however, was the fact that behind the nonstop action is a complex and multi-layered plot. I'm hugely excited and massively honored to be a part of the Dead Island phenomenon."
There's no news about it being released in North America, I'm not even too sure if it will be released here at all, but at least we get the game released a few days earlier.
