Ever since Nintendo announced their price cute for the 3DS, sales have dropped about 50% for the handheld gaming device. As the 3DS is falling, the PSP is rising for some reason; it went from 26,854 sales to 36,695 while the 3DS went from 31,826 to 14,415.
