Jungle Map Update: Day Three

I got a lot done since my last post, I stayed up till 4 a.m. to add some stuff. My friend showed me this pretty cool map called Meridian, it combines CTF and TC into a really well done map. After messing around on the map, it inspired me to add a little ravine in my map, so that's what I started to do which took me all the way till the early morning.

A lot of ideas came to my head during today's work, the whole gameplay will be a split control point game, so this map I'm working on now will be part of a few more; I'm not too sure on how the other areas will look, but I'm thinking one might be a beach like area with some cliffs and whatnot.

Let me tell you what I changed though, I added tons of rocks in order to block snipers from scoping from across the map, the rocks also help set boundaries and paths. I also did the ravine and added some waterfalls, I added tons of entities to the big open area, the Red spawn tree house had little tweaks and additions. I also fixed the area that contained what was the second control point, it is now the first control point. Other changes were very minute, which included displacement, throwing in some props and making a little shack.

As of now, I'll walk you through how the map goes for now.

 Once you get out of the spawn, you will take a right, this will be the path towards the first CP

 The first CP, the black things are glass textured. I want to have the glass from Badland's final point, but I can't find it at all. Until I can find it, these are just a placement

The underground passage is my hardest problem, I don't know how I'm going to design it at all, but it most likely won't be as big as it is now. That and the Red spawn are the parts that are heavily need some construction along with the textures needing aligning and blending. 

Tomorrow's work will include the Red spawn, some work on the Blu spawn and the underground passage. I will also throw in some decorations and props. If I can finish those, then I'll work on the second area of the map, which I still have no idea what to make. All I know is that I've spent an excessive and tiring amount of time into this than I have before; at least I'm enjoying this!
