At gamescom today Sega revealed a new trailer for the upcoming action platformer, Sonic Generations. While the trailer isn't something totally new we do get to see a couple new stages that made their mark during Sonic's history, Seaside Hill from Sonic Heroes and Spagonia from Sonic Unleashed.

The end of the trailer also reveals something very interesting. We finally see Sonic's sidekick Tails for the first time for this game and his past counterpart as well. What this means for the rest of Sonic's Friends and Enemies only time will tell but it should be safe to say Shadow won't make an appearance in Generations. You can rest easy now.
