It has been months since we have heard anything about Sony's tablets, well news has come out regarding both the Tablet S (Left) and Tablet P (Right) , they will both be released this year.
Tablet S will come in two two different models, a 16GB or a 32GB one and will be coming out this September with a starting price of $499. Tablet P, the one that looks like a DS, will be coming out later this year in November with an unknown price at the moment.
They both will be running on Android and will both have similar hardware; and since both tablets are done by Sony, they will come included with Pinball Heroes and Crash Bandicoot with more PS1 titles being planned.
Here are the specs for the Tablet P, which might be the same for Tablet S but with a different screen resolution:
- Dual core 1GHz Tegra 2 SoC
- Twin 5.5 inch displays (1024 x 800)
- Dual 5MP and VGA cameras
- HSPA+ radio
- 3,080mAh battery
- Full sized SD card slot
- 4GB of internal memory
- Micro-USB socket
- 3.5mm headphone jack
Both tablets look really interesting, and I would absolutely love to get them. If I had to choose one though, I'd most likely go with the Tablet S, just because I fear that if I do get the Tablet P, I might break it and I want a bigger screen. I would have to wait till the price for Tablet S to drop or wait for a sale on Newegg or something.
