In case you didn't see, Mega Man finally makes his appearance in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Many fans have been upset about Mega Man not being in MVC3, but it looks like they made an attempt to ease that discomfort. There is now a Mega Man skin that will be available for UMVC3, but this is a skin, not him as a playable character. Zero is supposed to be getting the Mega Man skin, but this will not mean there will be any new moves. Just a character in disguise.
No news on this being free DLC, or a release date, but at least we get our Mega Man. Fear not Capcom fans.
