Ubisoft recently announced a brand new animated short named Assassin's Creed Embers set to release with the 3 special editions of Revelation's this year.
For those who didn't see the special comic-con edition of X-play on G4 yesterday, we had a more in depth look of the movie and better understanding of the plot. Unfortunately this was the only trailer I could find; Ubisoft likes to play coy with their fans.
The old man you see in the first shot is indeed Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the protagonist of Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood and Revelations. He is Noticeably much older than previously seen, so the setting is most likely to take place during or after the event's of Revelations.However the figure at the end of the trailer is a mystery (perhaps Altair of the first Assassin's Creed)
Assassin's Creed Ember's will be available with the Special, Collectors and Animus editions of Revelation's November 15th this year. More info about these editions will come soon.
