The rumor of Walmart selling the 3DS for the intended price cut two days earlier than official date turned out to be true since I've been hearing different stories of people obtaining their cheap 3DS from Walmart.
It seems like a handful amount of Walmart across the U.S. are selling Nintendo's 3D handheld system for $169.99 right now, unfortunately not all Walmarts seem to be doing this.
If you're planning on getting a 3DS on the 11th, get it now so you can try and get Ambassador status for your 3DS and also so you can obtain those twenty free games Nintendo is offering all 3DS owners that have purchased their system prior to the 11th.
