In four days, Nintendo will be offering the 3DS for the new price of $169.99, but if you're too eager to get your hands on the newly price cut 3DS before August 11th, Walmart is offering the deal two days earlier than the official date. Supposedly, Walmart is releasing
Nintendo's handheld on August 9th. Picking the 3DS at Walmart might actually have a great perk. If you purchase a 3DS before the 11th, you will be known as an Ambassador which can get you twenty free downloadable games. But if you pick the 3DS up at Walmart, you will be able to obtain those free games.
If this rumor is true, then it will definitely be worth grabbing a 3DS as soon as possible. I'll let you guys know once there's an update about this.
