After Epic Games showed off the Unreal Engine running in Flash, developers Crytek is looking to do that same thing for their game engine - CryEngine 3.
"It is an interesting approach we’ve been investigating as well," says Carl Jones, director of global business development for CryEngine. "We're developing a unifying technology to create high quality social and gaming experiences on all platforms including browser, smartphones, tablets, etc. We hope to be able to tell you more about it soon when we present our truly cross-platform solution."
Crytek says that their engine will be more impressive than how Unreal Engine 3 makes Gears of War look in Flash.
