PlayStation Network Accounts Connected To Vita's Memory Cards

Sony is trying something a bit different with the PlayStation Vita. User accounts won't be connected through the hardware inside the Vita, but instead it will be connected with the memory card that the games are downloaded onto.

“Your PSN ID is bonded to your memory card and your memory card is bonded to your Vita,” Sony associate brand marketing manager Crystal MacKenzie said. “So if you wanted to change different PSN users but use the same memory card, you would need to go factory reset.”

You can also have your PlayStation Network user data tied to more than one memory card if you have more than one card.
