With the announcement of Resident Evil 6 yesterday, today Capcom gives fans a little more information on the game that they said they have been working on secretly for years.
Hiroyuki Kobayashi, executive producer, said that Resident Evil 6 basically has two key concepts:
- The fear that lies ahead (like maybe something will jump out at you when you turn the corner, and so-forth)
- Everything is overwhelming -- the scale, the story, the feeling of being there
The fear that Kobayashi is talking is probably due to the fear that will induce players from the zombies. There are no more mutated natives, Capcom is bringing back the dead as the enemies of that game. One of the new enemies that players will be facing is the Javo creature. Nothing is known about it besides that it will have a "greater impact than the zombies."
The Javo is a new enemy for Resident Evil 6
You're probably going to need help taking down all the baddies in the game, so Capcom gave more details about the new character that will be joining Leon and Chris in the fight.
The third main mystery character is "the man who's told to save the world." That's about all the information that Kobayishi would give, that and it's a male lead role.
