In honor of the Tomb Raider series being rebooted, the movies that follows the original games are doing the same thing. In 2013, Tomb Raider will be back on the big screen but without Angelina Jolie.
"Listen, the box office, they weren't disasters but I find it interesting that the story that we're telling is really the story before she became Lara Croft, so it is a character pieces" says Tomb Raider's producer Graham King who has also produced The Departed and Blood Diamond.
The new movie will go back to the roots of Lara Croft as an origin story and will have Mark Fergus and Hawk Otsby as the writers; they both did they writing for the first Iron Man movie.
