New On Set Photos Of Andrew Garfield And Rhys Ifans

January 20, 2012 0 comments

New images has risen of Andrew Garfield on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man reboot as he is sporting a piece of tissue stuck up his nose stopping what might have been a nose bleed.

There are more photos of Andrew Garfield, but these ones are of him trying his own stunts dressed up in his pre-iconic Spider-Man costume.

Now here he is taking a stroll in his Peter Parker get up.

Let's now turn our attention away from Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and focus on new images of Rhys Ifans portraying Curt Connors who also plays the villain in the movie - The Lizard. Take notice of Connors hand as it is transparent and slimey looking.

The Amazing Spider-Man hits theatres on July 3, 2012 with Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey, Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors/The Lizard, Martin Sheen as Ben Parker and Sally Field as May Parker.

Amazing Spider-Man Pics From Entertainment Weekly

July 14, 2011 0 comments

A few pictures of The Amazing Spider-Man were released in Entertainment Weeklyand damn, they look really good. The costume design looks weird, especially the back, but other than that, I'm liking the whole thing. Check out the pictures for yourself.

I'm glad they used the web shooters instead of giving him organic webbing, it just feels more right and accurate since this is the beginning of Spider-Man's life and not the aftermath of Disassembled. Marc Webbs had this to say about their decision on the shooters though.

"We made a very conscious decision to go back to the mechanical web-shooters, and I think the fans will appreciate it."

Yes, the fans will enjoy it, but those people who previously watched the other Spider-Man films will be slightly confused. That's why I'll lay it straight for them and tell them to read Spider-Man comics.

The suit looks nice, even though the texture resembles that of a basketball, but it looks great. At first I was skeptical about Emma Stone being Gwen Stacey, but it looks like she can play the role pretty nicely.

The Amazing Spider-Man Close Up and Trailer Description

A closeup of Andrew Garfield in his Spider-Man outfit has surfaced, and I gotta say it looks pretty nice. The angle of the mask makes it look a bit funky, but it is extremely well detailed, I'm really liking it.

The Amazing Spider-Man's first trailer will hit San Diego Comic Con, but supposedly MovieWeb already has a description of the trailer. The trailer basically includes Peter getting bullied, Dr. Connors injecting himself with a green fluid, Uncle Ben talking about great responsibility, Parker wearing his Spidey outfit, then you see Connors foot has scales and then you hear a roar with the trailer finishing up with "Amazing Spider-Man" on a giant web.

One thing I'm kind of disappointed in is that it's an origin story, who doesn't know Spider-Man's origin these days? I wish that Marc Webb, the director, could do something like The Incredible Hulk, where it showed his origin within the opening; that's what The Amazing Spider-Man.

For all I know, they probably will go that route, no one is entirely sure if the description is real or not. Either way, I'm still excited for The Amazing Spider-Man and can't wait to see it on July 3rd, next year.

I know there's also a bootleg of The Dark Knight Rises trailer out there, but I'll just wait till Warner Bros. released the official trailer, which will probably be in the next couple days.

The Amazing Spider-Man

I'm not talking about the comic, I'm talking about the new movie that's coming out July 3, 2012. Today the new Spider-Man movie finally got a title; The Amazing Spider-Man. Along with a title, we got this nifty picture with Andrew Garfield in a full Spidey costume. The costume reminds me of a mix between 2099 and Ultimate. The costume is different, but extremely nice and detailed. I'm definitely digging his look.

New Spider-Man Reboot Picture

What's this? Another Spider-Man post? Our favorite Web-Slinger on a roll it seems like. Today we've got a glimpse of Andrew Garfield in the Spidey oufit. The movie is inspired by Ultimate Spider-Man, a series I enjoy and still am enjoying. I just need to read their over 100 paged special issue. But if you've never read Ultimate Spidey, it all takes place during his High School days. From Age 15-17 If I can remember correctly, somewhere around that age.
