May 9, 2012 0 comments

If you have ever dreamed of owning the Pitch Black Pokemon Darkrai, then it can become a reality. Starting today to tomorrow you can download it to your copy of Black/White via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Center.

This Darkrai will be at Level 50 and will have the moves, Dark Void, Nightmare, Faint Attack and Ominous Wind and will also have his signature ability Bad Dreams that damages sleeping Pokemon after every turn.

To obtain this Pokemon, start up your copy of Black/White, make sure you have internet connection on your DS system and less than 11 wonder cards. If you have more than that you can just simply delete them in the main menu. Next you need to select "Mystery Gift" on the main menu, (this is where you can delete the wonder cards if necessary) then select "Receive Gift" the select "Yes". Next You must select "Get Via Nintendo WFC" and "Yes" again. After that all you have to do is pick up your new Pokemon at any Pokemon Center in the game and now you have your very own, legitimate, Darkrai.

New Pokemon Game, Black 2 and White 2

February 25, 2012 4 comments

Just as announced, Pokemon Smash has revealed some shocking news. Fans were expecting the same pattern Pokemon has done for awhile now, two new games, a remake for each game, and then they shocked us all. Not a Pokemon Grey, Not a Sapphire/Ruby remake, but a SEQUEL to Pokemon Black and White. The game is due for release for the Nintendo DS June 2012.

Get a free Mewtwo for Black/White

September 15, 2011 1 comments

If you live in Japan or have an imported copy of Pokemon Black/White version, you can download a free Mewtwo via Nintendo Wifi!

Nothing has been said about what makes this Mewtwo special, but it has been reported that it still has the pressure ability. Also, no word has been said if this Mewtwo will be available in the US and Europe as well.

The distribution starts on Sept. 26 - Oct 31 so you got plenty of time to snatch him. While I'm upset that Nintendo constantly does these regional exclusivity (favoring Japan over other countries) I have nothing to complain about since I have my Mewtwo imported from my Soulsilver anyway.

September is now Zoroark Month

September 6, 2011 0 comments

The Pokemon company has officially declared that September will be Zoroark month. To celebrate, the company will be holding activities and special giveaways all related to the fox Pokemon.

I have my own month? Suck it Pikachu!

Starting today to October 3rd, fans can visit the Pokemon web page to enter a contest for a chance to win special prizes. The grand prize winner will receive:

-A red Nintendo 3DS
-A copy of both Pokemon Black and White
-Zoroark themed colletors box for the Pokemon TCG
-A box of Pokemon TCG booster packs from the Black & White emerging powers series
-Deluxe Zoroark Action figure
-Zoroark: Master of Illusions DVD
-Master of Illusions Manga.

During this month 25 winners names will be drawn randomly to also win the Master of Illusions DVD, Special collectors box and the Zoroark Action figure.

Thats not all. From September 18-25, Toys R' Us stores across the nation will be having a special Zoroark distribution. Bring your Nintendo DS, Lite, DSi or 3DS with your copy of Pokemon Black and/or White to any participating store to download a Level 50 Zorark with the special move Snarl.

One more thing. From on the 17th and 18th, you can head over to the Pokemon website and watch Zoroark: Master of Illusions the movie for absolutely free. A treat for you fans of the Pokemon show.

Older, more well known Pokemon have never received their own month. Not Pikachu, Charizard, hell not even Lucario. But Zoroark has proven that he was one of the better Pokemon from the 5th generation. What are you going to do this Zorark Month?

Even your two buddies got their English names revealed: Bianca and Cheren. I really don't know why they decided to change Belle and keep Cheren

From Belle to Bianca

From Cheren to Cheren

And if you've been following the show at all, you'll know that Ash has been carrying around an egg lately. Well, it finally hatched into a Zuruggu

I'm kinda iffy on the new Pokemon game. The names aren't very unique and they really don't look like Pokemon. They look more like Digimon, and yes I know, a Digimon artist drew these ones up. I've played the Japanese versions of both games, and the only thing I liked about it were the 3 monkeys. Other than that, there was not much that popped out. I have no doubt that the game is still going to do good in sells, just because there's so many loyal Pokemon fans. And I might even be one of the slaves that will give in and buy it. Just so I can keep my Pokemon game collection going.
