Back In Action

Hello everybody! I'm sure you guys have noticed that the blog hasn't been updated in about a week, that is due to my computer breaking down and not being able to do anything internet related (which was quite horrible). I now have another computer to use until my other one is fixed and will be updating the blog on a semi regular basis as I try to get some data on my other hard drives.

Also, if anyone is interested my Team Fortress 2 clan is holding a competition and I will be hosting a live stream event at 3:00 pm Pacific Time. So if you are bored and have nothing to do, why not and watch some TF2 players go against eachother.

Now The Reading Gamers Has A Discussion Forums

Along with having a central website hub, The Reading Gamers also has a discussions forum that's currently having some work done on it. It's not much now, but hopefully it will be something. You can either access it by going to the forums itself or you can access the embedded version on our main site.

The Reading Gamers Has A Site

We, The Reading Gamers, finally have a site! Well, sort of.

I made a website yesterday using Google Sites just to mess around with, then I decided I would use it as the central hub for The Reading Gamers.

We will still be using Blogger to keep everyone notified on news going on in the world of video games and comic books but I will be using the website for announcements and whatnot; ideas are still being thrown around but that is how it is for now.

The 'Reviews' and '2012 Video Game Release Date' will be moved onto the main site, so if you want to see our reviews and release dates then head over there.

I'll keep you guys updated on some new changes when new ideas are incorporated. If anyone is interested in the main web site, then just head over here.

Guess That Screenshot

Tonight I'm going to try something new and fun, depending on your perspective of fun. Every other day or so I'll be posting a screenshot from a random game, it will be a character, environment or something else within said game. It is then up to you guys to guess what game the screenshot comes from, and if you guess right you get a sense of accomplishment.

Our community here is quite small, very very small, so this might not be a big hit; at least it's a fun little activity.

I'm Going To Be Quite Busy This Week

For the next week, I'm going to be fairly busy with school work considering finals are coming up. So for the next week, my contribution in posts if going to be quite low; I haven't even been able to read comics from the past two weeks! Happy One Year Anniversary To The Reading Gamers

After getting five hours of sleep, waking up early, working on finals, falling asleep in my school cafeteria and cooking some tacos I have realized something. Today marks the one year anniversary of The Reading Gamers.

One year ago today, I decided to take charge and create a comic and video game blog to keep myself and others up to date on the world of comics and video games as best as I personally could. At first I started a bit rocky, but as time went on The Reading Gamers has grown much more than I originally anticipated.

Over the past year, I have gained help in order to capture as much news as I could for you readers and within the same year we have gained an exponential amount of readers; it might not be thousands of views everyday, but we get enough views to make me happy and continue doing what I do. Thanks to our readers, I have branched The Reading Gamers onto Tumblr and Facebook.

I want to thank all my readers, regulars or people who just happen to stumble upon this site via Google or whatever. Thank you all for making me content with The Reading Gamers and thank you for reading.

I'm Sorry I haven't Been Posting

Well, it was one of those weekends where I haven't been posting due to me being away, so I apologize for a lack of posts. Expect some game news later today as I get settled down from being out of town; I don't even know what's going on in the world of games and comics, hell, I forgot to bring my comics with me so I'm a bit behind.

Anywho though, I'm back and I'll be posting some newsly news once I get around to it! And I hope this picture of Ghost Rider will make things up.
