First Look At Michonne From The Walking Dead

May 24, 2012 0 comments

Fans of The Walking Dead are excited for the debut of Michonne during the third season of the show with actress Danai Gurira portraying the sword wielding character. Well today Entertainment Weekly has released a first look of how Michonne will be looking in the show.

“The essence of the character — her personality, her motives, everything that makes Michonne Michonne — remains intact from the comics,” says The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman. “But like a lot of things on the show, there will be little tweaks and differences here and there. We saw that her introduction is slightly different from how it was in the comic, and her interaction with Andrea is really going to be a really cool addition to the character that I think will get television viewers up to speed, and they’ll get to know her a lot faster than comic book readers did.”

It seems like an origin story for Michonne from the Walking Dead has been released just a couple days ago, but it's going to be hard to get your hands on it unless you are over 18 as it is only in the April issue of Playboy.

"It's an honor to be a part of a historic publication like Playboy," said Kirkman, "I'm thrilled to share The Walking Dead with the magazine’s readers, especially such an important story like the origin of Michonne."

If you want to learn more about Michonne before she met up with Rick and the gang then go grab yourself a copy of Playboy or ask your older brother for his copy.

The Walking Dead Trailer And Video Game

July 22, 2011 2 comments

At San Diego Comic Con, AMC showed atendees thei trailer for Season 2 of The Walking Dead along with revealing the date and time for the show. The 13-episode season will debut October 16 at 9 P.M. ET/PT.

I'm pretty excited for the second season (especially the farm house part), I loved the first and how it was adapted into a T.V. show. I really hope that they show their prison hideout, I loved that part in the comic book.

Along with a trailer for the T.V. adaptation, Telltale has released some pictures of their upcoming The Walking Dead game. Telltale has decided not to follow Rick and his group, but instead they created a new character - Lee - who was a prisoner during the whole outbreak.

The game is about Lee trying to survive and will have situation where you will have to eat and mend a broken bone. The Walking Dead won't be a straight up run-n-gun zombie shooter, it will be more like an adventure game where you talk to people and solve puzzles. Some choices you make in the game, can affect other parts of the game also.
