Yesterday, Valve rolled out a message regarding an important Steam Client Update that's to happen overtime. The new update has two important features:
"Deliver better download rates in more places around the world, and also to simply streamline the publishing process on Steam, ultimately making it possible to ship more games than we would have been able to with the old system."
Not all game are currently using this, but Dota 2 will be the first game to be using the new systems, which will be "soon" says Valve, but considering Valve time, we can't be too sure on that one. Anyways, the only things that are currently using this new feature are the 1280x720 (HD) trailers you can download through Steam.
Better downloads and bandwidth, I am completely fine with this update.
