Next Gears of War title to be a Prequel.?

The story of Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad has finally ended but the Gears of War franchise is way too massive and popular to just stop and it's possible that Epic is planning on a new title that takes place beforehand.


Although its just a rumor, this months issue of Official Xbox Magazine has announced that the next Gears game will be a prequel and could be made by Epic developer, People Can Fly. And with a massive universe outside of the main game, it'd be hard not to do a prequel title, possibly during the Pendulum Wars or even E-Day.


While it's possible, Epic is still busy developing the new Gears 3 DLC "RAAM's Shadow" which will be released on December 13th.
