New images for Avengers vs X-Men have surfaced yesterday along with the cover for The New Avengers #24, which seems to have Wolverine having trouble with which side to choose.
Issue 24 of The New Avengers is a tie-in issue for Marvel's next big thing - The Avengers vs X-Men event.The event will put the Avengers against the world of the mutants for a reason that no one knows yet, but that doesn't mean speculation is going around. One thing is for certain though, the Phoenix Force is returning and it has a major role, let's just HOPE that things won't end up too devastating.
"We've got a very interesting arc for the Avengers," Bendis said . "What's been going on lately is that they've been tested...they're wondering what it means to be an Avenger...when the world is throwing one terrible disaster at them after another...it takes a toll on a society and the Avengers are left to take the blame for it, as it were. They're going to want answers from Captain America."
Wolverine and Storm are going to be majorly affected considering they both are on different teams, but an image might show what team they are playing for.
It seems like Wolverine will stick with the Avengers as Storm goes against the Avengers as she is with the X-Men; doesn't mean that they will stick with that team for the entire duration of the event, I wouldn't be surprised is Wolverine ended up switching sides or ending up walking away from the fight.
