Warner Bros. Now Offering Catwoman DLC Solution

October 20, 2011 0 comments

Some unlucky gamers were in for a surprise when they found out that their Arkham City Catwoman vouchers didn't have the code printed on it. Warner Bros. is now trying to help customers obtain their Catwoman codes.

"Since Tuesday's incredibly successful launch of Batman:Arkham City in North America, our customer support team has received a very small number of calls/emails (less than 0.5 percent of total units sold) regarding Catwoman codes either being invalid or not included in the game packaging. While the number of affected versions is very small, WB Games apologises for any inconvenience this has caused and we are committed to getting these issues resolved as quickly as possible.

All who are experiencing any issues with the game are requested to contact WB Games customer service Department by calling (410) 568 - 3680 , emailing
support@wbgames.com or visiting community.batmanarkhamcity.com/support. All matters will be handled promptly."

Warner Bros. Is Working On Codeless Catwoman Vouchers

October 19, 2011 0 comments

For every good thing, something bad must happen, which is the case for Arkham City and the lack of Catwoman codes some players are getting with their new copy of the game.

Some players are getting the voucher that is included with Arkham City, but the code is not printed on the voucher. Warner Bros. does know that there is a problem and they are trying to deal with it as best they can.

A Twitter update states that, "We are aware that some people did not receive the Catwoman code in their game. You will get to play as the sexy thief, stay tuned for update"

In Order To Play As Catwoman In Arkham City, You're Going To Need An Online Pass

October 13, 2011 0 comments

Video Games companies want to push customers to buy new copies of their games as opposed to them buying used copies and Rocksteady is pushing that onto Arkham City.

Players who get used copies of Arkham City won't be able to play as Catwoman in the single-player mode, instead, you're going to have to buy a new copy to do that. How it's going to work though is that every new copy will include a pass, but if you have a used copy and need the pass then you're going to have to pay Warner Bros. 800 Microsoft Point or $9.99.

If you want to play as Catwoman, then I suggest you buy a new copy or wait a very long time until the price drops exponentially.

Anne Hathaway In Her Catwoman Suit For Dark Knight Rises

September 24, 2011 6 comments

Pictures have risen today of Anne Hathaway sporting her new Catwoman outfit for the upcoming Dark Knight Rises movie directed by Christopher Nolan. The pictures were taken on set in L.A. So check out the photos below to catch a glimpse of Hathaway and Bale.

I'm going to be honest here and say that I don't like her costume at all, I get that you can't do much with an all black leather outfit, but there are some details you can add to make it more authentic looking. I would get rid of that goofy mask and cat ears and give her goggles and a head piece similiar to this:

Maybe it's just the quality of the pictures that make it look bad, who knows, so I'll give it a second chance and wait till there's a more better picture that surfaces.

Anne Hathaway Sporting Her Cotwoman Costume

August 5, 2011 0 comments

More pictures from The Dark Knight Rises came out today, but these ones don't have Batman or Bane, these ones features another new character introduced to the movies - Catwoman. Anne Hathaway has been chosen to play the role of Selina Kyle as she sports a costume that was inspired by Darwyn Cooke's Catwoman design.

I never supported Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, and I still don't.; nothing about her screams out Catwoman or Selina Kyle. Anyways, More pictures were released and shows Catwoman's costume upclose, but it's not Anne Hathaway in the costume, it's her stunt double driving the Batpod.

Dark Knight Rises Teaser Poster

July 11, 2011 0 comments

Over at the Dark Knight Movie Site, there's a teaser poster for the upcoming film that's coming out next summer. I'm not the biggest Batman fan but I'm pretty interested in how this will end up, considering Nolan's Batman are pretty good. I'm more interested in seeing how Bane will be portrayed though, along with Anne Hathaway's Catwoman.

Arkham City 10 Minute Gameplay

July 1, 2011 0 comments

Can't wait to play the new Batman: Arkham City game? Well unfortunately you cannot play it until October 18th in the U.S. and October 21st in Europe, but you can watch someone play the first 10 minutes of Arkham City. Some of the stuff in the video has already been seen at E3, some not shown.

I can't wait to get my hands on this and start messing around in the city with it's free roaming. Most of my hours will be spend gliding around time, using my gadgets and whatnot to beat up random baddies.

E3 Day One Coverage - From Halo 4 to PS Vita

June 6, 2011 0 comments

So far we have gotten some pretty exciting stuff from E3; news about a Halo 4 with its new trilogy and Combat Evolved HD, Arkham City demo, Fable for the Kinect, realistic Battlefield 3, new trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic, new trailer for Mass Effect 3, an interesting Need For Speed: Run, Gotham City Imposters trailer, an extremely nice looking Overstrike done by Insomniac,Uncharted 3 and the reveal of the PS Vita (formerly known as the NGP).

One of the first big announcement was of a rumored Halo 4 that became reality during Microsoft's conference; Master Chief will be back again, not once, not twice, but three more times in 343 Studio's adaptation of Halo.

I am not that big of a fan of Halo; the only good games out of that series was Combat Evolved and Reach. Speaking of Combat Evolved, Microsoft has announced that Halo: Combat Evolved HD will be coming out later this year due to the 10 year anniversary.

If you do not like it in its nicely updated graphic mode, you are able to switch back to its old look. Rocksteady Studios gave us an interesting look at Arkham City with their demo. The demo showed Catwoman being playable and some of Batman's new tricks. I'm getting more excited for this game, I believe it will blow Arkham Asylum out of the water with its open world city.

One game that caught my attention was Fable: The Journey for the Kinect. I have never been interested in Fable at all, but if I ever were to get a Kinect, it would most likely be for this... and the Star Wars one. By looking at the hands on video for it, it actually looks pretty nice.

When I was watching the trailer for Battlefield 3, I thought I was watching an Army commercial; that trailer looked extremely realistic and nicely polished.

The new trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic made me want the game more, despite if it will have a subscription cost. The Old Republic is looking to be promising with everything it has announced, from its diverse classes to its planets and systems. We still have no word on the release date though.

One of the biggest games to be talked about at E3 was Mass Effect 3. Even though we have known aboue Mass Effect 3 for months already, it did not stop BioWare from giving us one hell of a trailer.

So Insomniac showed us their new game they have been working on, not Sly 4, but a magical gake called Overstrike. This game is on my top wanted games. This baby will have co-op and looks a little like Borderlands, but hopefully not as disappointing. If i hear good things about this, then it definately will be on my ganlme shelf playing with friends.

During Sony's conference, they announced Uncharted 3; I have never played Uncharted, but I think this third installment will make me pick up the series. The trailer looks freakin amazing and looks like its an actual movie.

Probably the biggest news is the PS Vita, Sony's PSP predecessor and what the PSP Go should have been. This impressive device is what I really want with its front touch screen AND the back touch screen. Sony gave attendees a preview of how the front and back touch screens work, so I myself am not to entirely sure but I really do want to know. The look of the PS Viva is similar to the PSP by the looks of it, but with Wi-Fi ($249.99) or 3G ($299.99) and a touch screen. That is not all though, Ken Levine who works with Bioshock also announced a Bioshock pet project for the PS Vita. Both versions of the PS Vita should be hitting stores sometimes this year.

That is pretty much the biggest things to hit E3 today; most of the stuff announced were things already known and a few surprising information. Hopefully day 2 will bring us a lot more stuff and Nintendo will be announcing some actual games, a gamer can wish.
