Dino D-Day Adds New Dinos And Weapons

October 17, 2011 0 comments

For those who still plays Dino D-Day or hasn'y played in a awhile and wants a reason to get back into it, a major update has been released that adds new dinosaurs and new weapons.

The Compsognathus (or Compy for Jurassic Park fans) is the first new addition of dinosaur for the Axis, he is a small little guy that knows only one thing - suicide. His intentions are to blow people up first and ask questions later with a grenade strapped to his back.

The second dino to be released is the Microraptor; this little guy can run and fly his way through the battlefield. While flying, the Microraptor can swoop down and attack his victims, but if you want to go for a more stealth approach, then he also has the ability to cling onto walls or ceilings and wait for prey to come by.

The allies are going to need something to counter these little buggers, that's why they have been given a flamethrower to burn away those pesky dinosaurs that have you cornered. The Flamethrower can only be used by Nigel and replaces the PIAT. The second weapon given to the Allies is the M1 Carbine that's used by Hardgrave.

Dino D-Day's New Additions

Dino D-Day players should be excited there is a new update that just came out for the game today. The update involves a new map and a new playable dinosaur - the T-Rex. Along with the update, Dino D-Day will be free to play this weekend and it will also be 50% off until this Monday. That's not all that's coming along with this update! Dino D-Day will also have an SDK pack so the community can make models and maps for the game.

The T-Rex has MG42's attached the side of its head and his special attack is that he can roar at his enemy, causing them to fall to the ground. Once down, the T-Rex can right click over the body and start eating any Axis member up. The T-Rex can be taken down easily with explosive weapons, but pistols and smaller weapons won't do anything at all to him.

I might partake in this update, but I really don't want to deal with the heavily bad controls and an unbalanced classes.
