An update for the 3DS will coming out in the next month that allows players to play demos and download add-ons for certain games.

Publishers will be able to put demo versions of their games in order for players to try, Nintendo is also allowing add-on content for 3DS games via the eShop. According to Satoru Iwata, president of Nintendo, "This is a feature a number of software creators have been looking forward to." I wasn't expecting Nintendo to allow add-ons for games considering that their stance on DLC isn't very high.

The other day at Gamescom, Sony announced the PSP was going to be cut in price, but I didn't know they built a different PSP model for the price cut. The new PSP E-1000 has a matte finish, very minute physical changes and doesn't have built in Wi-Fi. The new PSP was showcased at Gamecom as well, and I found some pictures of what the new handheld model looks like.
