Team Fortress 2 Presents Australian Christmas!

Valve is celebrating their second annual TF2 Christmas event, Australian style! Which means more Gordobot weapons, holiday themed items, and a whole new Map. This is Australian Christmas.


Engineer and Pyro have gotten brand new Dr. Gordobot item sets for themselves. Pyro gets the Moonman pack and Engy gets the Brainiac Pack.




They both get a new primary, secondary, melee, hat and misc. items that have a futuristic and alien-like theme. You can check their weapons on the TF2 Wiki.

Christmas time calls for Christmas items, and Valve has created a whole bunch of community items for the holiday season. This also means new crates! There is the new Naughty and Nice crates and keys. The "nice" crates can only be opened with "nice" keys and contain the Australian Christmas items, while the "naughty" crates and keys unlock a class's default weapon with Christmas lights, wrapped around them. There is a chance you can get one with a strange variation and still have a chance to unlock an unusual hat for both.
The biggest part of the update is the whole new control points map named Foundry.


Just a standard control points map, however there are 12 new achievements, all related to this map AND if you get 7 of them you unlock the new "Full Head of Steam" hat for all classes.If you want to be part of the festivities, then update TF2 on Steam right now before Australian Christmas is over.

The 12 Days of Gearsmas and RAAM's Shadow Problems

Some big news for the Gears of War community this weeks, some good, some bad. Let's have a look see.
First off, season pass owners have been having issues downloading the brand new RAAM's Shadow Pack today. People who own the season pass were promised that they would receive the DLC for free but would be charged if they were to download the content. Epic has adressed the issue and has advised all season pass owners NOT to download the DLC (or they will be charged a second time for it) while them and Microsoft is trying to fix the issue. I just found out on the forums though that the problem has been fixed so you Pass holders can now download the content for free.

Second, Epic is having a huge holiday event otherwise known as "The 12 Days of Gearsmas", starting tomorrow until Dec. 25th epic will be having special events during multiplayer on each day as well as bringing back old playlists as well, here is the list:

Brothers to the End on all maps playlist

Nintendo Reveals Holiday Bundles for the Season

Nintendo plans to make big money this holiday season by releasing not one, but TWO 3DS bundles this Christmas. We've already made posts of the upcoming Legend of Zelda bundle, but there is another.


The big N will also be releasing a Super Mario 3DS bundle which will contain a fire red 3DS system and a copy of Super Mario 3DLand.


Both bundles will be available for the holidays on November 24th and will both cost $199.00 each. Nintendo plans to make some money this season to make up for what they lost in the past several months. But that's not all they have in store. Nintendo will be setting up booths in several malls across the U.S. showcasing and holding demos of the hottest upcoming titles for the Wii and 3DS for the holidays. The Killing Floor Twisted Christmas Event

with Special Guest Team Fortress 2's Pyro. So if you people don't have Killing Floor, then I highly suggest you go get it asap. I've been playng Killing Floor for about a year, and it's an amazing game. And starting December 14th going to January 4th, KF will have a Christmas Even going on, which includes: 

-Free for everyone that owns Killing Floor (auto downloaded through Steam)
-All new level - Santa's Evil Lair
-All creatures in game replaced with Christmas themed monsters including the Gingerfast and the Nutpound
-More than double the achievement count with over 130 achievements
-13 new Christmas achievements
-Unlocklable "Baddest Santa" playable character
-Red or Blu Pyro from Team Fortress 2 playable character available to anyone that owns both Team Fortress 2 and Killing Floor (That's right! Pyro in KF)
-Mr. Foster's trademark gas mask and business tie as equitable items for the Pyro in Team Fortress 2 for anyone that owns or purchases Killing Floor before the end of the event
-All new difficulty level beyond suicidal - Hell on Earth
-Balance improvements
Along with that we're getting a new DLC pack: "London's Finest" It gives us another 4 characters.
