Bioware Hint's at Upcoming DLC for Mass Effect?

This weekend at the Montreal Comic Con, Bioware teased fans with an image at the end of their panel the looked like Commander Shepard staring at some red holographic-image.

 The developer has yet to announce what it means but most fans speculate that is has something to do with Omega, the squalid space-station that you visited in Mass Effect 2. The station was involved in the Mass Effect Comic, Ascension that reveals how Aria T'loak lost Omega to Cerberus. This comic was given to free for people who got the N7 collector's edition of the game. And if you played Mass Effect 3 (with a ME2 save file) You remember that Aria is trapped on the Citadel and is planning to retake her beloved Omega. For right now, Bioware is content keeping us in the dark.

I would like to take the time to say that I'm sorry for a lack of posts in the previous months from me. I've had plans to keep up to date and even do a review of Dawnguard but between work and starting School things just fell apart with the blog. But now I'm hoping to at least update once a week for you guys. I also will be doing a review of Darksiders 2 and Minecraft (xbox 360 version) sometime in the near fututre so keep reading!

Leviathan Will Change Mass Effect 3's Ending (Hinting at new DLC)

If you weren't satisfied with Extended Cut ending, then maybe getting the new single-player expansion Leviathan will tickle your fancy. Bioware has confirmed that the DLC will have an impact on the games ending. It is not clear how much and how big this change will be but they're most likely keeping it under wraps for us to figure out.

Leviathan is scheduled to be released later this summer, most possibly by the end of August or the beginning of September.

If you've played Mass Effect 2 then I'm sure you remember Aria, the self-proclaimed ruler of Omega. In ME3 she has become stranded on the Citadel after having Omega taken away from her by the Illusive Man and Cerberus and asked you to rally three of Omega's biggest Mercenary Groups under Aria's banner to one day retake her station.

Some code in the game was found that reveals Aria dialogue that hint's at a mission to retake Omega from Cerberus. However if you already played through Mass Effect 3, the you probably already knew that Bioware had plans for DLC around this story anyway.

Tara Strong, the voice actor for Harley Quinn also announced in an Q&A at Sac Anime that she'll be bringing back Harley in an extension of the game. Here's hoping that Rocksteady will announce something very soon.

Mass Effect 3 Getting Multiplaer DLC

First off I'd like to say sorry for not making any posts in the past couple of weeks, my computer broke and I had t get a new one, but anyway back to business as usual.

Some leaked photos from reddit have revealed new characters for the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, including Batarians, geth, Asari Justicars and even a Krogan Battlemaster (that one sounds awesome.)


Some have speculated that these will be DLC codes that will be found in the future series of Mass Effect action figures, hey you got your Skylanders in my Mass Effect. Even if this is true, I wouldn't mind having a action figure of Wrex by my side. Expect BioWare to reveal more on this in the upcoming month.

God of War Getting Another Game?

God of War's story was supposed to end with III, however a video that was leaked on Youtube says otherwise. The video shows no actual gameplay or any sign of the series protagonist Kratos, but it seems pretty legit.

Assassin's Creed III's Protagnist Revealed?

We all know that Desmond will play a huge role in the final installment of the series, however the biggest part of Assassin's Creed was always experiencing ancient times. A new image has been sent to Kotaku of the possible Assassin for the next game. Take a look.


If it's true, then the next game will be taking place in the American Revolution, almost three-hundred years after Ezio's period. However I definitely welcome this new Assassin, his design is great and shows a lot of how he's going to play from his, tomahawk, bow and arrow, and even that pistol hes wielding. Heres to hoping this guy is for real.

Mass Effect 3 Getting First Day Dlc?

It's a growing trend that companies are offering DLC that can be purchased on the first day of a games release. Now it seems that Mass Effect will be hopping aboard that trend as a customer apparently bought a DLC pack for the series final installment at Gamestop today.


If this is true then the first piece of content has officially been titled "From Dust." (not to be confused from the arcade title). Or maybe this could be the aforementioned DLC mission to be given for those who pre-order the N7 collector's edition. Hopefully Bioware will shed some light on this mystery soon.

Are These Nintendo's Newest Legend Of Zelda Games?

A rumor has surfaced today that Nintendo is working on two new Legend of Zelda games for the 3DS that might resemble Oracle of SeasonS and Oracles of Ages.

The game are supposedly called The Legend of Zelda: Fire Prophecy and The Legend of Zelda: Ice Prophecy. We already know that Nintendo has been working on a new Legend of Zelda title for the 3DS, but could these be what they have been working on?

Rumos Considering Dead Rising 3

Dead Rising 3 will feature a new character and a new location and lots of zombies. Rick, who is an auto mechanic in Los Perdidos, California, is stuck with a group of people as they defend themselves and their town from flesh eating zombies. That is the newest rumor going around of course.

Siliconera says they have information on the next installation of the Dead Rising series. They also say that an illegal immigration theme will take place during the game. A character named Red is the leader of a group of infected illegals.

This is just a rumor of course and there is no way of telling if this is real or not since Capcom has no commented on this.

Borderlands 2 already has a release date?

Not much has been shown about Gearbox's upcoming sequel to the role-playing shooter Borderlands, in fact, no gameplay has even been showed to the public except for some leaked footage that keeps getting pulled. However, Amazon.com might have already given us a release date before the developer did.

Borderlands 2 possible box art?

Amazon has made a special holiday deal for those who pre-purchase the game, but the real kicker is that they claim the game will be released on June 30th, 2012. While not official, this could mean we'll get Borderlands halfway though the year. However were a little overdue for some footage of the sequel. You can order the game here if you're interested.

Rumor: The Last Guardian Creator Left Sony

According to rumors going around, creator of Ico, Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian Fumito Ueda has left Sony but is still working on The Last Guardian.

Ueda is working on his latest game for Sony as a freelancer until the game is finished being developed and him leaving is supposedly the reason why The Last Guardian has yet to be finished. After the completion of the game, he plans on working on his own projects.

Sony's Smash Bros. Clone has a Name

Rumor had it that Sony was working on their own Smash Bros Styled fighting game featuring the stars of PS3 exclusives. Today the game was confirmed to be real as we are given a title and who is developing it.


The brand new game will be called Title Fight and will feature stars of PS3 exclusives including: Nathan Drake, Kratos, Sly Cooper, PaRappa, Fat Princess, Colonel Radec and many more. And Sony has teamed up with developer Super Bot to create the game. An official announcement will be made shortly.

Next Gears of War title to be a Prequel.?

The story of Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad has finally ended but the Gears of War franchise is way too massive and popular to just stop and it's possible that Epic is planning on a new title that takes place beforehand.


Although its just a rumor, this months issue of Official Xbox Magazine has announced that the next Gears game will be a prequel and could be made by Epic developer, People Can Fly. And with a massive universe outside of the main game, it'd be hard not to do a prequel title, possibly during the Pendulum Wars or even E-Day.


While it's possible, Epic is still busy developing the new Gears 3 DLC "RAAM's Shadow" which will be released on December 13th.

Ezio to appear in Soul Calibur 5?

God please let this be true. An anonymous informant has released a photo of a SC5 demo being shown at a fighting games tournament. The image shows the master assassin as a playable fighter.


While the image seems pretty convincing I'm not sure if it's entirely true considering this is something Namco bandai would try to keep secret. But if Ezio is confirmed as a playable fighter then this game will be a definite purchase for me.

Leaked Smash Bros. title?

Recent Images found on the internet has been leaked that possibly gives us the title for the next Super Smash Bros. game.


If this is real then the next game will be title Super Smash Bros. Universe with the Wii U logo fitting as the 'u' in universe.

As cool as that would be, Sakurai explained that the next Smash Bros. wasn't even conceived of when they announced the Wii U at E3 due to developing Kid Icarus: Uprising.

We'll find it if/when Nintendo announces Smash Bros. fate.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Rumored Film

Earlier today, a Dr. Strange movie rumor started to go around, but now another rumor is going around for another movie based on Marvel characters. This time the characters involved won't be very well known outside of the comic book community.

Guardians of the Galaxy is the next group of heroes that are rumored to get put into the movie universe. This might be a rumor, but there is at least one piece of proof that might back it up. Last year, Kevin Feige, President of Production at Marvel Studios, hinted at a Guardians of the Galaxy movie when he said, “I think what Ed Brubaker and Matt Fraction have done with ‘Iron Fist’ lately is exciting. I think ‘Black Panther’ and Wakanda has some amazing potential to be a feature film. ‘Doctor Strange,’ as you’ve mentioned. There are some obscure titles, too, like ‘Guardians of the Galaxy.’ I think they’ve been revamped recently in a fun way in the book.”

Guardians of the Galaxy  was first introduced in 1969 as a big part of the cosmic part in the Marvel universe, but then they were resurrected back in 2008 and is loved by lots of fans. I wouldn't be surprised if the movie revolved around Star-Lord's reborn team.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Rumor

I never post rumors, but this one has me concerned, after chatting with a friend who has more knowledge about it than I would, and it deals with Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Next week at San Diego Comic Con, there will be a Marvel vs. Capcom 3 booth where there will be a special announcement.

This special announcement is rumored to be an announcement for "Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3". This move will be just like Super Street Fighter IV, where they will make "Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3" will be the standard game with updates, DLC, and patches where as the old MvC3 will just gather dust. But on the bright side, "Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3" will be $20 cheaper and feature a dozen new characters.

I hope this rumor isn't true at all, but if Capcom has done this before, then it might be true. If it is true, and I'm going to have to buy a different MvC3 game, then I don't know what I'll do. I feel too mad at Capcom to support them but I really do enjoy MvC3 and I want to have new downloads. I can turn my copy to GameStop and put it towards this new game, but I don't want to give up my collector's edition. I just hope this isn't the case at all, I just want more characters and maps for the copy I already own.
