Next Months GameInformer to Reveal the Next Gears of War

May 31, 2012 0 comments

Even though Gears of War 3 concluded the story of Marcus Fenix, Epic isn't going to toss their star franchise out so easily. In fact, they're already working on a new Gears title already. Nothing has been said yet, but GameInformer will be the first to have the details on the next installment as next months featured article.

The shadowed man is Indeed Marcus Fenix and if you look at the outside scene you can see Reavers meaning this game will most likely take place before the events of Gears of War. During the beginning of the locust war, Maruc disobeyed orders to save his father which cost them a major battle. For his betrayal Fenix was sentenced to 40 life sentences in prison, which makes the cover a dead giveaway for the games setting.

If you want to learn more about the new Gears, GameInformer will covering all about the new title next month on their website before the issue is released. Stay tuned for more.

Gameinformer Reveals the Elder Scrolls Online

May 3, 2012 0 comments

The Next Issue of Gameinformer will be huge as they will have first details on one of the most wanted games from Bethesda, The Elder Scrolls will be getting an MMO.

The game will be made by Zenimax Online Studios and will use the in depth exploration of Tamriel of the Elder Scrolls and the massive scale and social interaction of an MMO. The game is set to take place a millennium before the events of Skyrim, as the Daedric prince Molag Bal tries to pull all of Tamriel into his realm in the planes of Oblivion. The Game will also use PvP conflict that pits 3 player factions against itself. What 3 factions these are unknown but can vary between the Blades, Thalmor and even the Dark Brotherhood.

GI will also be releasing a teaser trailer tomorrow featuring brief interviews of those from Bethesda and Zenimax.

While the cover isn't much, I'm still excited to see what Bethesda has planned with this.

Black Ops II Confirmed for this Year

May 1, 2012 2 comments

The Official Call of Duty Website has Confirmed that the next Call of Duty is indeed Black Ops 2, as if that was a big surprise to anybody.

The biggest difference so far is that while the first Black Ops took place during the Cold War, This one will take place in the near future. This will most likely means, new tech weapons and possibly abilities introduced in the franchise, just like the image above suggests.

The reveal was originally going to take place during the NBA playoffs, but the debut trailer is still scheduled to be released at that time. Right now the reveal is blocked off to the public but here are some screens of the new game.

Next Call of Duty to be Revealed May 1st

April 22, 2012 0 comments

It should be no surprise that Activision had plans on releasing a new Call of Duty title this year. And now the publisher has announced when they'll be revealing it.

So make sure to keep the game on during commercials if you're interested in discovering the newest CoD game, even though most people seem to believe its Black Ops 2. All I'm hoping is they actually reinvent the series this time around, it needs a fresh reboot.

Assassin's Creed III's Protagnist Revealed?

February 29, 2012 0 comments

We all know that Desmond will play a huge role in the final installment of the series, however the biggest part of Assassin's Creed was always experiencing ancient times. A new image has been sent to Kotaku of the possible Assassin for the next game. Take a look.

If it's true, then the next game will be taking place in the American Revolution, almost three-hundred years after Ezio's period. However I definitely welcome this new Assassin, his design is great and shows a lot of how he's going to play from his, tomahawk, bow and arrow, and even that pistol hes wielding. Heres to hoping this guy is for real.

Tony Hawk to Announce New Skateboarding Game.

December 7, 2011 0 comments

The Tony Hawk series used to be one of my favorites when I was a kid. However Activision made the same mistake as with Guitar Hero and Call of Duty by releasing a sequel for every year leaving little for innovation and change, seriously guys sometimes less is more.

While "Proving Ground" was quite enjoyable I was certain that the series was dead when they went to build the skateboard peripheral for Tony Hawk: Ride. After 2 years of no releases, the Birdman revealed on his twitter account that he will be unveiling his new skateboarding game at the Spike VGA's on the 10th.

"I'll be announcing the upcoming release of something new on Sat; the same day as the Spike Video Game Awards. Coincidence? I think not,"

All I can hope for is that the game will go back to it's roots. Seriously, I do not want another skateboard prop or a kinect based- game...

That has to go, along with Bam Margera.
