Metro: Last Light Trailer

May 31, 2011 0 comments

Ukranian developer, 4A Games, released a trailer for the upcoming Metro: Last Light and it looks different, yet still amazing. You still play as Artyom, but now you are a Ranger and Khan comes with you on the mission; along with returning characters, the Reich will be coming back. Metro Last Light will not be based off of Metro 2034, but instead it will have its own plot and such, but that does not mean 4A Games won't ever do a Metro 2034 game based off the novel, supposedly. I'm highly interested in what the whole plot of Last Light will be; the enemies might be the Reich instead of the mutants considering the ending to Metro 2033....

DC Renumbering All Titles

May 31, 2011 0 comments

DC Comics has announced that they will be renumbering over 50 of their comic titles back to No. 1; their reason for doing such a leap is to bring in new readers. The renumbered comics will be more up to date with current events and more modern costumes. "In September, more than 50 more first issues will debut, introducing readers to stories that are grounded in each character's specific legend but also reflect today's real-world themes and events. Lee spearheaded the redesign of more than 50 costumes to make characters more identifiable and accessible to comic fans new and old." "We looked at what was going on in the marketplace and felt...

Pocket Legends

May 25, 2011 0 comments

Lately I've been playing this game called Pocket Legends by Spacetime Studios on my tablet, and it is a pretty impressive Mobile 3D MMORPG. It's a pretty simple game for either your iOS device or Android device with pretty impressive features; you can chat with other players in the area or in a different area, an auction house, hundreds of weapons/gear, and a nice level of difficulty are included within the game along a countless amount of different players. Even the battle system is nicely down, all you have to do is select which enemy you want to attack and set your weapon on auto; you also are able to choose different attack abilities,...

Portal 2 Soundtrack Released

May 25, 2011 0 comments

For all you funky Portal 2 lovers, Valve has been kind enough to give us free ring tones and soundtrack. I see that the soundtrack says Volume 1, so I'm hoping that there will eventually be a Volume 2; these ring tones will be going on my Android Tablet for my notifications. Turret Wife Serenade sounds great, so does Science is fun; I can care less for the others honest...

X-Men Schism

May 25, 2011 0 comments

For anyone who has been reading the latest X-Men event. Prelude to X-Men Schism, and been wondering what the hell is going on, Marvel has finally shown some light for us. X-Men Schism is basically about a mutant related international devastation that tears up the X-Men team and will introduce a fight between the leader of the X-Men and the most feared of the X-Men; Cyclops against Wolverine. I'm guessing that Wolverine will go against Cyclops because of an extremely tough decision Cyclops makes, which can be seen in the Prelude to Schism. Most likely Cyclops sends hundreds of mutants to their deaths and that doesn't settle with Wolverine....

Gotham City Impostor

May 17, 2011 0 comments

Batman and Joker is at it again, well, it's not really Batman and it's not really Joker. Instead it is the wannabe Batmen against the wannabe Jokers. Lame, right? No, it does not sound lame at all, instead it sounds freakin amazing. What Gotham City Impostor is all about is that you either side with the Bats or the Jokerz and fight each other with guns, gadgets, rocket launchers and comedy style bombs. Monolith Production (who have done F.E.A.R. and Condemned) will be making this game a first person shooter along with customizable characters and gizmos. Yes, yes, everyone knows that Batman never uses a gun, but don't worry...you're not really...

NBC Passes Wonder Woman

May 14, 2011 0 comments

It seems like Adrianne Palicki won't be playing Wonder Woman on T.V. anymore; NBC has decided to pass the Wonder Woman reboot. But it was rumored that the pilot will be released one way or another, I am not too entirely sure who would watch it in the first place. I'm not too shocked that this got canned before it was even able to air on televisi...

Another Attack For Sony?

May 5, 2011 0 comments

It is rumored that a third attack will take place this weekend against Sony's website, which can lead to more stolen credit card information and/or regular information. This rumor comes from Erica Ogg, a CNET writer. Even if this is a rumor, Sony should not take it light heatedly, and I hope they are ready for this blow. If you want to find out more, visit Erica Ogg's article on CNET about ...

Fear Itself 2 Review

May 5, 2011 0 comments

Holy crap, if I thought Fear Itself #1 was amazing, then my mind was not prepared for Fear Itself #2. This event is getting better and better so far and I cannot wait for all the other Fear Itself arcs to come out. The Cocoa Pebbles I was eating at 1:30 in the morning almost fell out of my mouth as my jaw dropped in the second issue of Fear Itself and Fear Itself: Spider-Man. Let me start off with Fear Itself #2, we got to finally find out who the Worthy are in this issue. Think of them as the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse, but there are 8 of them with magic hammers under the control of the Serpent King, who is an enemy of Odin. If he's an enemy...

Star Wars on Blu-Ray

May 4, 2011 0 comments

The big Star Wars news from yesterday has been announced today. As everyone pretty much expected, Lucasfilms is releasing the complete Saga on Blu-Ray on September 12 this year that will include 9 discs with the movies and special features. Once I get enough money, I'll be forced to throw my money at Lucas. Speaking of the price, the price is suppose to be $139.99, but Amazon is selling it for $89.99 right now, saving you $50...

Today's Comicbook Read

May 4, 2011 0 comments

Today Marvel released Fear Itself 2/Spider-Man/The Home Front and Moon Knight. I have been waiting for this moment and will be reading these glorious comics later tonight. At first I did not realize that Fear Itself came out today, but once I found out, I knew I would be giggling around on my bed reading it along with Moon Knight. I'll be writing a review for all of them possibly tomorrow. I am hoping that Bendis does a good job on Moon Knight, despite knowing most of his other work. I will have to say though, I did enjoy his work on Ultimate Spider-Man. Either way, the new Moon Knight sounds like it can have some very good potential. Maybe...

Mass Effect 3 Delayed

May 4, 2011 0 comments

BioWare has announced today that Mass Effect 3 will unfortunately have a new release date sometime in 2012. A representative has stated: "Today we have confirmed that Mass Effect 3 will be released in the first three months of 2012. The development team is laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone’s expectations." At least their reason for a pushed back date is reasonable. I want my Mass Effect 3 to be extremely well done, so I do not mind waiting a little bit long...

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Easter Egg

May 4, 2011 0 comments

I just found this video and found it pretty interesting, the new Legend of Zelda game has an easter egg within its theme song. Listen to the whole thing and you'll be able to figure it out. I will have to say though, I am not a big fan of the theme. It sounds pretty different, but in a bad way. I cannot really put my finger on it, but it is pretty disappointing. I just hope the rest of the music in Skyward Sword isn't like this at a...

May The 4th Be With You

May 3, 2011 0 comments

Over at this Star Wars website, there is a countdown going on and will reach 0 tomorrow on "May The 4th Be With You" day that will lead into an announcement. No one is quite sure what the announcement is, but some people are speculating a Blu-ray 3D complete saga movie set. If this is true, then I will be a sucker and buy it, which will probably cost quite a lot for me. But hey, it might not be a movie, it might be a new game or something. Either way, we'll find out tomorr...

Metro 2033: Last Light

May 3, 2011 0 comments

THQ has announced the official name for Metro 2033's sequel; Metro 2033: Last Light. Along with the sequel name, the set release date isn't fully known except for a 2012 release date. I am highly curious on what the sequel will be about. Metro 2033 was highly enjoyable, so my expectations for Last Light are going to be set pretty high. I still need to get an English copy of the book also, I would love to read the 464 paged bea...

May 2, 2011 0 comments

Sony has been hacked once again, but it was not their PSN, this time it was Sony Online Entertainment. SOE includes DC Universe, EverQuest, and Star Wars Galaxies along with various Facebook games. They people over at SOE has stated: "Dear valued SOE Customers, We have had to take the SOE service down temporarily. In the course of our investigation into the intrusion into our systems we have discovered an issue that warrants enough concern for us to take the service down effective immediately. May 2, 2011 1 comments

If you head over to Gamestop, you would notice that Portal 2 has had a price cut. The console versions are now $39.99 while the PC version is at $29.99, and Bestbuy is doing the same thing. But Amazon is pushing it and have the consoles going at $34.99 while the PC version is still $29.99. Not sure why this is exactly happening, but don't let this deal slip by, get it while you have the chan...

Anaheim Comicon 2011

May 1, 2011 0 comments

Yesterday, I went to the Anaheim Comicon, and I will have to say that it was amazing and fun. I got to meet some awesome artists and actors. I got to meet Rob Leifeld, who is known for his weird anatomy. Just look at this picture of Captain America he did: Though, he has gotten better with his drawings, especially with the variant he did for Uncanny X-Force. I also got to meet Arthur Suydam, the artist behind Marvel Zombies, and got an awesome Moon Knight poster signed by him. There were a plethora of other artists, a lot of them from web comics I have never heard of. The other major comic artists, I did not know too many of them. Liefeld...
