Lately I've been playing this game called
Pocket Legends by Spacetime Studios on my tablet, and it is a pretty impressive Mobile 3D MMORPG. It's a pretty simple game for either your iOS device or Android device with pretty impressive features; you can chat with other players in the area or in a different area, an auction house, hundreds of weapons/gear, and a nice level of difficulty are included within the game along a countless amount of different players.
Even the battle system is nicely down, all you have to do is select which enemy you want to attack and set your weapon on auto; you also are able to choose different attack abilities, that will take mana away from you though, but you can easily refill it with mana potions. If you want, you're able to level up your abilities to whatever suits you; the leveling ability would be more interesting if it were tree branch based.
You are able to choose from three classes: Enchantress (Elf) Warrior (Bear) or Archer (Bird). Each character is customizable to a limit; the Archer can look like a robin or the Warrior can take on a panda look. After choosing the facial look, the colors of their clothing are changeable also; unfortunately it changes the color, not the style. After awhile, your character will be able to gain different weapons from completing tasks or getting them as drops from different enemies. These weapons will give the character different features, like a higher crit rate, more health, more strength, ect; these are not limited to weapons also, it applies to head gear or tunics also.
After the character is chosen, you're thrown into Haven Forest in the world of Alterra where you have to save a prisoner from zombies (yes, zombies) and then complete the first dungeon after fighting the first boss. From there there is an imminent danger and the Elf Queen asks for your help to travel around Alterra and save the kingdom from all the evil doers. During your travels, a chance is given to you to help other people where you can gain items and gold; if the tasks are too hard, you can call on strangers or friends to help you out.
All in all, Pocket Legends is an amazing MMORPG for it being free; once in awhile there are updates, so support for the game is obviously there. Of course there is room for improvement, in order to get platinum, a kind of currency besides gold, you need real life money. Luckily, you don't need the platinum to go farther in the game, but it unlocks levels and other helpful stuff. In a way, the platinum helps you gain DLC. More customizable characters and more classes would be amazing along with a more advanced ability tree, I understand that might be too much for a mobile game, but hey, that would be awesome. Despite those three things, the game is a wonderful experience and pretty addictive with a great pace; I have been playing for a little over a week already and I just reached level 20, so it's not too hard nor is it too easy. I pretty much highly recommend this game to anyone, and if you do have the game, don't be afraid to join my party for some leveling.
